Document weight of container before and after collection.

72 hour faecal collection and 5ml of serum are required by Monash Pathology to complete the test. Serum should be collected within 24 hours of faecal collection. Send both faecal and serum samples to Monash Pathology.

24 hour faecal collection is acceptable for children under 5 years of age.

Start time/date and finish time/date must be filled out on outside of faecal tin. Random faecal specimens are not acceptable.
