Must be discussed with a Laboratory Haematologist
Add exactly 2.7 mL of blood & mix by inversion.

Collect 2 (TWO tubes).

This test is the not listed on CMBS schedule.

For routine batch testing charge is $280 and for urgent requests $400.

This test will be performed on the AcuStar chemiluminescent platform at Monash Pathology from Oct 2023.

Additional Notes:

Must be approved by Haematologist and determined very clearly if this test is URGENT or only for batch testing. FBE often have the urgent STICKER attached and this does NOT mean the ADAMTS-13 IS URGENT - CHECK WITH HAEMATOLOGIST/ REGISTRARS.

Urgent same day testing is available when requested and samples reach Monash Health Pathology by 1pm. Please phone the Special Coagulation lab on 9594 6751 if urgent results are required.
