No sample is required for IvIg issue.

Product must be requested via the BloodSTAR portal on the National Blood Authority (NBA) web site. Once the indication and dose are approved by the NBA, and the EMR or paper request has been received in the Blood Bank department, IvIg will be issued. For further details contact the Transfusion Nurse or Blood Bank department.

Transport Instructions:

Forward paper requests to Blood Bank during EMR downtime or for patients not on Northern Health's EMR.
