Note: The sulphonylurea screening procedure is only able to detect glipizide, gliclazide, glibenclamide, chlorpropamide, tolbutamide and tolazamide. Glimepiride and the meglitinide antidiabetic drug repaglinide are not detectable by this screen. The screen is only reliable for specimens collected within 24 hours of drug ingestion.
