Collection staff to obtain "HOT BOX" from incubator in Pathology Lab. Take "HOT BOX" to bed side and use tubes supplied for collection. "HOT BOX" to be transported to lab immmediately after collection. Lab staff to follow processing instructions.

Outpatient Collection: Collection should be performed at The Northern Hospital Collection Rooms only.

Lab staff to leave collected samples in "HOT BOX" for approx 30mins post collection. Centrifuge samples and aliquot. Please label aliquot tubes as EDTA plasma and SERUM.
