Collection & Request Instructions:

Need 10mL of Blood and 3mL of Bone Marrow.

Specimens must be kept at room temperature and must be less than 48 hours old to be processed.

Specimens should be sent to the Haematology Laboratory on Mondays to Thursdays between 0900-1730 hrs. Outside these hours liase with the Haemtology Registrar  before collecting. Specimens need to go interstate and be processed within 48 hours.

Due to the processing requirements specimen must be sent on arrival on day of collection or at latest next day (Monday to Thursdays only)
