Performed on ALL patients with reactive HIV screening test regardless of history. Minimum volume required for testing by VIDRL is 1ml of serum.

Record screening test results on referral form for VIDRL.

Processing Instructions:

Store at 4'C

Aliquot at least 1 mL of serum for testing. Contact VIDRL if less than 1 mL serum available.
