Registration Instructions

Must receive a 10ml EDTA to perform this test. If no transcript is specified, it will be assumed to be P210.

Only BCRABL p210 requests on blood samples are performed in-house.

Non-blood samples (eg bone marrow) and/or non-p210 requests (ie rarer transcripts) are to be sent out  - if it is peripheral blood p190, use B19 and send out to PMC. If it is a bone marrow sample (regardless of whether it is p190 or p210), use BCR and send out to PMC.

For other rare transcripts, the sendout lab will depend on the requested transcripts (use generic lab-specific code).
