Both 24-hour urine and paired serum samples are required. Serum must be collected no earlier than 24 hours before start of urine collection and no later than 24 hours after urine collection is completed.

Record start and end date/time of collection on bottle.

Urine specimen acidified with hydrochloric acid is acceptable.
