Registration Instructions:

For interpretation of fluid results, must send Serum sample at same time as Fluid sample (as required by Alfred Pathology Service). If a serum sample is not received, please contact the requesting clinician to request a serum sample. Proceed with registration of the fluid sample.

The SST tube (ATR) MUST be sent together with the Fluid (ATF) and never separately. Cancel ATR if the serum sample is not sent and add on a RECOLLECT (REC) panel indicating serum sample not received.
